Hekanakhte

Hekanakhte
(fl. 1950 BC)
   Landholder and priest at Thebes during the reign of Senusret I. He is known from his letters, which were discovered in 1921–1922 at Deirel-Bahri. These letters were written to his household while he was away in the north and give details about the practice of Egyptian agriculture and personal relations within his family.
